How Does This Work?

A different way of consigning...

Your Turn Consignment (aka YTC) holds semi-annual, pop-up consignment sales focusing on specific genres (baby and kids, athletic equipment, wedding decorations, holidays, etc.). Consignors log their items online and tag them, then drop them off a few days before the sale is open to the public. For more detailed descriptions click here. All items are organized in "departments" like a big box store to make shopping easier.  Make a list when shopping so you don't forget anything!

This is not a glorified yard sale. Items should be gently used and in working order.  When pricing your items, think about what you consider to be a great deal.  There will be a lot of similar items on the sales floor - price your items to SELL.  We do not accept items that are broken, missing pieces, torn, faded, stained, missing buttons or snaps, or beyond repair.
Pre-sale is open to consignors, workers of shifts, VIPs, and contest winners. The sale then opens to the public for a limited number of days. At the end of the sale, unsold items can be returned to the consignor OR they have been marked for donation to local charities. We accept cash, credit cards, and Venmo at check out.  No personal checks are permitted.

We are so excited to bring this type of consignment sale to Lorain County!  Thank you for your interest and we hope you join in and grow with us!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do we need to pay a registration?

The registration fee is put towards YTC's overhead costs such as location rental, tagging and check-out systems and sales floor fixtures. This $15 fee is now subtracted from a Consignor's earnings before payout instead of paid upfront when registering to sell.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Will there be restrooms and dressing rooms?

Yes, restrooms are available with changing tables and nursing areas.  Dressing rooms are NOT available.  Merchandise must remain in the sale and may not be taken into the restrooms.

Are strollers or wagons permitted?

Strollers, wagons, large reusable bags, and small, upright shopping carts ARE permitted.  It can get quite busy on the sales floor.  Children MUST remain with you at ALL times.  Also, all bags, strollers, wagons, and carts are subject to search upon departure of the sale.

How are you able to shop the sale early?    Consignors, volunteers, special recognition groups and contest winners will be able to shop early.  Details will be listed on the Presale page in August.

What happens if I don’t pick up my items after the sale?

All items not picked up on the last day of the sale will automatically become property of Your Turn Consignment, unless prior arrangements have been made with the sale owner.   If you want your unsold items returned, you will need to provide a sturdy box or tote with your last name and consignor number printed clearly on the side at your drop-off appointment.  One box or tote per 40 items, please.

How do I get my money?

Checks are mailed to Consignors within 7-10 business days after the sale ends.  Payment can also be requested via Venmo or Cash App.
